In honor of John F. Kennedy’s upcoming inauguration as the country’s 35th President in 1961, clothing departments in New York city decide to capitalize on the future President and his wife’s immaculate sense of style that would later forever define the earlier part of the 1960’s.

“But as a philosopher said, one day after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, after all the scientific and technological achievements, we shall harness for God the energies of love. And then, for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire.” - Sargent Shriver (November 9, 1915 – January 18, 2011), founder of the Peace Corp, husband of Eunice Kennedy, among an almost unbelievable list of other accomplishments.

rocketyank asked: Dude, just wanted to say how fricking brilliant this site is. I got into Jack about a year ago and have been collecting pics, but you have some amazing ones that I had never seen anywhere else. I beg you to rock on.

Awesome, I’m so glad you dig it. Bobby was my intro into the second generation of Kennedys, and my personality and Teddy’s seemed to line up properly so I started adoring him as well - but I feel like Jack; The Person is pretty underrated. It’s hard to sort through all the myths about him and get down to his essential character, but I really appreciate who he was too, flaws and all.

  12. Anonymous asked: Totally know you're crazy busy!!!! But just wanted to say, all your crazy fans who've used this cute little box to bug you with queries are still here, hee hee. :-*

Take all the time in the world (this blog is SOOO worth it) - just wanted to reaffirm our neverending presence!! LOL <3

Aw, thank you so much! This is such a sweet message. I’m glad you like this blog :)
